Following hot on the heels of the book 'Avon Ways & Stour Days', we have managed to persuade John Searl to let us sell his limited edition new book (launched on Saturday) 'Chalk Stream Roach - The Ultimate Challenge'. For anyone who loves roach fishing this book is a must. With an Introduction by John Bailey and the Foreword by Peter Wheat, it has chapters by Dave Howes, Dave Steuart, Vic Beyer, Pat Macmanus, Ron Smith, Mark Wintle and John Searl himself.
Lavishly illustrated by John Searl, it also contains page after page of beautiful pictures of specimen roach. Personally on picking it up, I had trouble putting it down again until I had finished reading it from cover to cover!
Like his earlier book 'A Brush with the Avon' all copies sold by us have been personally signed and numbered by John himself.
